The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) is the government organisation responsible for all land transport in New Zealand.

This includes the planning, regulation and funding of land transport, the promotion of safety and sustainability, and managing land transport systems, such as the state highways.

The New Zealand Transport Agency is a Crown Entity, which employs approximately 1400 staff. Its purpose is to build a better transport system for New Zealanders. We operate and manage the state highway network and have an exciting and ambitious work programme ahead, delivering new transport infrastructure.

We are looking for Senior Transportation Planners to join our Wellington and Auckland Transportation teams to help us deliver on exciting and challenging projects that are building Wellington and Auckland. 

To be successful in these role you will have tertiary qualifications in transport planning or engineering. You will have hands on experience in the development of large projects through the early planning stages as well as exceptional communication skills, strong project management skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
