Beca’s Transport Advisory team has a breadth of local, national and international experience in the areas of traffic management, multi- modal transport planning, integrated land use and transport planning, intelligent transport systems (ITS), crowd modelling, and road safety. 

Our Transportation team work on some of the largest transport projects in New Zealand including: 
  • Waterview Connection 
  • Mackays to Peka Peka Expressway 
  • Tauranga Eastern Link 
  • Wynyard Quarter redevelopment 
  • Manukau Bus Rail Interchange. 

Due to the continued success of our Transportation team we are now looking for Traffic & Transportation engineers nationally to join our team. We have roles available in all our main centres and are interested in hearing from team players with excellent communication skills. 

You could be at any stage in your career from junior to senior with a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent attention to detail we are sure you will succeed at Beca. Ideally you will have experience in one or more of traffic signal design, traffic engineering, traffic modelling, public transport, road safety, cycling projects, writing project Business Cases and ITS. 

We offer a varied role that includes managing and delivering projects with support from our technical specialists, liaising with clients and project management. 

As part of a national multi-specialist team you will have many opportunities to diversify and develop in your specialism to further enhance your career with many opportunities for national and overseas assignments.
