The University of Auckland has climbed four places to the 61st position in the latest listing of the world’s top universities.
The University of Auckland is now ex aequo with the University of Wisconsin-Madison in a ranking that lists over 2000 universities in 130 countries.
The University of Otago, in Dunedin, went down one place and currently sits at the 125th position. The University of Canterbury went down two places to 188 and Victoria University also fell two spots, ranking number 229. Massey University currently sits at 299, while strong performance from the University of Waikato helped it to climb 64 places to number 314.
