Who we are
The GHS team is a committed group of professionals with a combination of skills across the health sector and recruitment industry. Both physiotherapy and medical imaging professionals are part of the GHS team together with experienced recruitment consultants. Three of our staff are also migrants and have first-hand experience relocating internationally. Several of our team have lived and worked in New Zealand.
At Global Health Source our philosophy is to offer a holistic approach to both clients and candidates. Each discipline is managed by a specific consultant who will oversee the entire recruitment process. Wherever possible we strive to go the extra mile, always act with integrity, and offer advice which is in your best interests.
Visas with GHS
We assist in arranging temporary visas and permanent visas for our candidates. We will discuss your individual circumstances and the most appropriate visa options available to suit you and your family. There is no consultancy fee for this service, just the cost of your visa application and incidentals. With Global Health Source, you may have a temporary visa to work in New Zealand within four weeks of lodgement, and some permanent categories can be approved in as little as three months. Age is not a barrier. Please don’t be discouraged if you are over 45. Global Health Source welcomes professional candidates of any working age and excels in the facilitation of visas for health professionals.

During the last 10 years we have built strong relationships with clients all over New Zealand and recruit regularly on an ongoing basis to many facilities. We understand the stresses and strains of making an overseas move and work with you to make your relocation as smooth as possible. We maintain contact with you after arrival and are on-hand to discuss issues related to settling in, especially during those first few months when you may be finding your new life a challenge.

GHS will discuss the various available opportunities with you at length, providing you with the necessary information to enable you to make an informed decision. Registration requirements are rigorous for overseas graduates, and GHS will offer you advice and suggest the most direct registration path for you. The staff at GHS have a comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand immigration process and can provide accurate information on applying for a New Zealand visa and work permit. Work visas and permits offer flexibility with respect to length of contract and there is no age limit.
