For how long will my medical and police assessments remain valid?

All police certificates must be less than six months old, while all medical and chest x-ray certificates must be less than three months old at the time an application is lodged. Medical assessments must be carried out by a panel doctor who is approved by Immigration New Zealand.

NB: As gathering documents such as police and medical certificates before you submit your application to Immigration New Zealand can be time-consuming, it is worthwhile allocating specific time for these when you’re planning your move to New Zealand.
