Can my partner also migrate on my visa?

Both unmarried partners and spouses can be included in an applicant’s EOI and in later applications for residence. If a visa is granted, residence will extend to partners (regardless of whether they are legal spouses or not) and children included in the application.

Note: The holder of the student or work visa must have been issued with a visa allowing a stay in New Zealand of more than six months for the partner to be eligible. There are also some exceptions to this rule; for example, partners of working holiday visa holders are not eligible.
