Founded in 1995, Theta is a New Zealand owned technology consultancy with offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga. Our team of over 200 experienced analytics, digital, business solutions and systems management specialists help organisations in New Zealand and around the world to transform their businesses with technology.
Delivering great work and great service is a key tenet of our business and we aspire to be the technology company of choice for customers with technical and business challenges. There are five values which underscore all that we do:
- Our people are our greatest asset.
- We conduct business ethically.
- Invention, imagination and creativity are the foundation for growth.
- We work with positive energy, enjoyment, humour and work/life balance.
- Excellence is our passion and we deliver what we promise – or more!
We have some of the best and brightest in the industry work for us and are always on the lookout for talented people!
Our people need to be technically proficient – but more than just programmers. They can provide the full package from analysis and design, right the way through to implementation support. They are problem solvers who can translate tech speak into ‘real world’ terms (and vice versa). Most importantly they show a genuine interest in our customer’s businesses and can communicate the value of technology, helping them to make the most of their investment.
We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and offer a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to strive for excellence. As industry thought leaders, we are regular participants and presenters at tech events and hackathons. As well as helping our customers, our Innovation Lab has meant we can give back to the community and share our expertise in other ways, through internships, graduate employment opportunities and our Mini Devs project with Newlands Intermediate.
Diversity has become an important buzzword in recent times but is something we have always embraced – we’re very proud of our “United Nations of Theta”. We know our different experiences and backgrounds mean different ways of thinking, and when applied in a collaborative work environment, leads to the best solutions for our customers. To us, diversity isn’t a frame of mind, it is our way of life
Our teamwork and energy doesn’t stay confined behind the computers – we get involved wherever our passions lie. We are long-time supporters of CureKids as well as try our hand at a variety of events from bike challenges to half marathons and Round the Bays!
