What is the English pass mark and how can you achieve this?

In order to apply for your visa, you first need to meet the English Language levels stipulated by INZ. IELTS (International English Language Testing System ) and PTE (Pearson Test of English) are two of the recognised examination systems.

  • The pass mark for residency is a score of 6.5 in IELTS or 58 in PTE.
  • The pass mark for AEWV is a score of 4.0 in IELTS or 29 in PTE.
  • You can pass this test by taking English classes specifically designed to help get visa approval.
  • The classes teach you how to get to your required language level.
  • Once you have passed, the test is valid for two years.

The training process can take more than a year so don’t wait – start learning how to pass the test now and be ready to apply as soon as possible.
