Sous Chef
Must have standalone restaurant experience
We require full-time sous chefs who genuinely care and want to join an amazing team to deliver memorable experiences for the guests. This role would suit a person looking to take the next step in their career, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and leadership potential, is a true team player, a chef who likes to be busy in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes as per the restaurants standards.
- Menu planning, developing and costing new dishes
- Monitoring portion, waste control, and giving staff direction to maintain profit margins.
- Prep lists, ordering, stocktakes
- Achieving COG and wage targets
- Training kitchen staff
- Compliance with regulations
- Communication with the kitchen and restaurant team, and wider Hospitality Group
- Guest focused to nurture an excellent guest experience creating raving fans
Minimum of 4 years kitchen experience is required.

- $29 to $32 per hour based on experience
