Job Description

With excellent earning potential, you will be responsible for managing and motivating the sales team, using your experience and knowledge of the car industry to create new sales strategies, work to budgets and empower your team.

The successful applicant should be comfortable up-selling insurance products, be computer competent, have immaculate presentation and attention to detail when it comes to administration. A cheerful personality is a must, as is a “can do” attitude to ensure you fit in with the team.

 

The Role:

  • Selling used Japanese vehicles
  • Following up on all generated leads
  • Ensuring all stock is well presented on the yard
  • Utilising company CRM system
  • Helping with vehicle marketing including social media channels
  • Conducting weekly meetings and sending weekly reports
  • Upselling on aftersales
  • Assisting with Finance and Insurance claims
  • Maintaining the Courtesy Car list/Operation Checklist/Spare Key Log
  • Inspecting the new stock on arrival (Basic Auto Mechanic Skill)
  • Arrange to return car to operations for fixing when standard not met
  • Arranging delivery across New Zealand when required

Requirements:

  • Weekend work is essential, and the position demands focus and commitment
  • Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Prior experience in NZ motor industry is desirable
  • Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
