Our clients are seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors for numerous construction projects throughout New Zealand.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have overall responsibility for the control of the project finances and provide direction to the Site Management Team as required.

As a principal company representative on the construction site, he/she will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost, and time requirements are adhered to throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows.

As a key member of the Commercial department, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead by example, provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring of team members and be responsible for directly and indirectly contributing towards day-to-delivery, competitive strategy and net margin target achievement.

Job Requirements:

• A formal qualification in Quantity Surveying (Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying) particularly from tertiary institutions in the United Kingdom
• 3-7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
• New Build/multi-story construction experience
• Residential & Commercial build knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
