As expected, we’ve just received an update from Immigration New Zealand (INZ) regarding changes to visa charges.
Taking effect from October 1st 2024 most visa charges will increase. Whilst the increase in some fees is significant this is the first increase in a long time and comes after some major changes to the New Zealand immigration process.
These fee increases also bring New Zealand more inline with fees charged by other countries such as Australia, and will reduce the taxpayer contribution to the immigration system by $563 million over four years – great news when you get here!
