Our experts are coming to Manchester! Register your place at our Live Seminar: Your Pathway to a New Zealand Teaching Career – October 19 2024

Are you an educator seeking a new adventure in your teaching career?

The New Zealand government’s Overseas Relocation Grant (ORG) is the perfect opportunity for Teachers looking to change their lives and move to New Zealand. The grant offers qualified Teachers up to $10,000 NZD to help cover relocation expenses when moving to New Zealand. On top of that, Secondary School Teachers are eligible for immediate residency and most other Teachers are eligible for a work-to-residency pathway. Read on to discover more about why there has never been a better time than now for Teachers to move to New Zealand.

The ORG is part of New Zealand’s Teacher Recruitment Initiative, designed to attract talented educators from around the world. This grant provides qualified teachers with a lump sum of up to $10,000 NZD to assist with moving costs when they relocate to New Zealand and become registered teachers- this includes any immigration application and assistance costs!

To be eligible for the ORG, you must hold a teaching qualification that meets the requirements for registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (TCANZ). You must also complete all necessary registration processes required by TCANZ and secure a position at a school or early learning service in New Zealand. Once you’ve fulfilled these criteria, the grant will be paid within 10 working days after your registration is completed and your employment is confirmed.

In addition to the financial support from the ORG, New Zealand offers a streamlined residency pathway for teachers. Secondary School Teachers receive immediate New Zealand residency, while all other Teachers can benefit from a work-to-residency pathway.

The Overseas Relocation Grant is an incredible opportunity for teachers looking to start a new chapter in New Zealand. With up to $10,000 NZD available for eligible educators, this grant provides valuable financial support to help you settle into your new home.

If you’re a Teacher interested in moving to New Zealand, relocation and residency opportunities don’t get much better than this.
