After joining, how long will it take before I am able to move to New Zealand?
This depends on your individual circumstances but we generally say between 3 – 6 months. This includes getting your New Zealand registration, securing you a job and the visa application process. The best thing to do to speed things along is to get job ready. That means starting the application process and getting your visa eligibility assessment completed. If you are not quite ready to make the move yet but you are interested, we can get the process underway for you without pressure or obligation to proceed until you are ready to take the next step.
Does my CV have to be in a specific format for New Zealand?
Our team will give you all the help you need with CV formatting and we have a template available to ensure you are presented to employers in the best possible way.
Do I need references when applying for jobs in New Zealand?
Yes, we need references to support a job application. We will carry our initial reference checks via email with referees supplied with your consent.
What fees will I incur for your services?
Our recruitment services are completely FREE. We will support you in getting prepared, making sure you are job ready, present you to employers and secure you a role in your preferred location. We will advise and support you along the way. Our visa service and applicable Immigration NZ fees will be explained to you in detail by one of our licensed immigration advisers.
What annual leave am I entitled to in NZ?
On average New Zealand workers are entitled to four weeks annual leave, however, some professions may receive more. There are 11 public holidays throughout the year (otherwise known as bank holidays in the UK).
How much input and information will I have in terms of location?

We are happy to chat with your partner to discuss their employment options for NZ and potentially assist in securing them a role. Our visa team will manage their visa application alongside yours as the principal applicant.
