Work Visas Explained
ACCREDITED EMPLOYER WORK VISA
If you have a job offer from a New Zealand employer and the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role, this visa may suit you. Your employer must be accredited and have a valid job check for the offered role. If granted, your visa will be granted for up to 36 months.
VISA RENEWALS AND VARYING YOUR VISA CONDITIONS
Before your current work visa expires, you must renew or apply for a further temporary visa to allow you to work and stay longer in New Zealand. If your current work visa no longer fits your current circumstances, you will need to vary your visa conditions or apply for a new work visa.
OTHER WORK VISA CATEGORIES
Other categories of work visas may be suitable for you. Depending on your eligibility, you may apply for a Specific Purpose Work Visa, Post-study Work Visa, Special Work Visa, or Working Holiday Visa. If you have a partner in New Zealand, you may also apply for Partnership Work Visa.
