Mechatronics Engineer

Mechatronics Engineers,  there has never been a better time than now to move to New Zealand, with the occupation being selected by the New Zealand Government to be eligible for the straightforward ‘Straight to Residency’ pathway on tier 1 of the Green list

Day to day responsibilities may include:

  • Enhance manufacturing processes of mechatronic products.
  • Implement automation to boost manufacturing efficiency and precision.
  • Collaborate across teams for seamless mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
  • Manage documentation for manufacturing processes and standards, ensuring compliance.
  • Troubleshoot mechatronics issues, perform detailed component testing, and stay ahead of industry advancements.


Ideally, your experience may include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics Engineering or related field
  • Software and firmware development
  • 3D CAD modelling in a production environment
  • Fluid dynamics and heat transfer real world experience
  • Fabrication, milling and turning of metal
  • Manufacturing SOP creation
