Technical Operations Specialist ~ Expressions of Interest

As a key member of the Data & Automation business unit you will contribute alongside software developers, application support engineers, testers and automation engineers, as you work on a variety of projects, platform optimization activities and automation initiatives. 

You’ll be acting as 2IC to the Operations Lead and assisting in day-to-day activities in a high energy and dynamic operational environment. You will also play in integral part in helping our client transition their operational capability to support predominantly cloud hosted systems and solutions.

To be considered you will need:

Technical Operations Expertise: Extensive background in operations with a clear vision for cloud operations.
Azure Proficiency: Strong understanding and utilization of Azure Admin roles, Azure Data Factory Pipelines, Azure machine learning, Azure Log Analytics, Azure API Management, and Azure Kubernetes Services.
Cloud-Hybrid Architecture: Familiarity with cloud-hybrid architecture and AWS suite of services.
ITIL and ServiceNow: Working knowledge of ITIL processes, experience using ServiceNow for operations automation is a plus.
Hands-On Approach: Enjoy rolling up sleeves, getting hands-on with technology, and sharing knowledge with the team.
24x7 Operational Support: Comfortable being part of a 24x7 operational support team.
Cloud Security and Privacy: Fundamental understanding of security and privacy within the cloud, assisting in assessing new products within the domain.
SQL and Snowflake: Experience writing SQL Views/Procs/Functions, preferably on Snowflake. Snowflake admin experience is a bonus.
Programming Skills: Essential programming skills, preferably in Python. Experience with Low Code platforms like Logic Apps and Power Platform is advantageous.
Automated Processes: Experience in designing and developing automated processes.
Stakeholder Management: Strong business acumen, stakeholder management capability, and excellent communication skills.
Agile Delivery Toolsets: Proficiency in using software development and agile delivery toolsets such as Azure DevOps.
ML/AI Experience: Experience using ML/AI tools, products, and platforms, including Generative AI and LLM toolkits like Azure OpenAI and Microsoft CoPilot, to enhance and automate operational processes.

It would even better if you possessed:

Cloud architecture and cloud-hybrid design experience.
Container-based software development experience (Docker/Kubernetes).
Web-apps development and/or web-application admin.
Power BI and/or Power Platform development or admin.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP experience.
Relevant Azure certifications (AZ-400, AZ-204, AZ-104, AZ-305, AWS certs, etc).
