We are looking for a Web and Database Manger to join our team:
This is an important position for us. Working In has several key websites and social media pages that we use to inform our audience, and you, as Web Manager would be responsible for the smooth running of these websites and other digital assets.
Working In is 22 years old but we are vibrant and modern and have an entrepreneurial feel. COVID has given us challenges and many new opportunities. Our strategy for 2021/2022 and beyond has digital at its core and we want to secure that strategy with an excellent person to run online ship.
As the Web and Database manager your bread and butter is being responsible for tasks like: ensuring that all pages are up to date and coded correctly for conversion tracking; up to date with the latest features to ensure maximum reach/return. You would manage our hosting sites/servers, review server logs, weekly back up of systems/databases, DNS checks, webform functionality, speed tests, and system connectivity (Active Campaign into Job Adder).
We are looking for someone that has a hands-on approach to our sites, creating pages and a keen eye for detail to meticulously make changes to websites. Most of our sites are built in Wordpress and marketing automation system is Active Campaign – a strong understanding of both or similar applications is imperative. Along with this, you would be working with our digital agency partners on larger projects.
The wider team, including outsourced designers and writers, will take care of the creative so relax - it is not necessary to have flair in those zones!
Technical and tidy
We are actively looking to recruit a Web and Database Manager that is strong on the technical side of things, that likes to keep everything tidy and in order.
We would like to hire you if you are knowledgeable about SEO and you can apply this to the websites; also, be across multiple Google applications (Analytics, GTM, AdWords, Search) and the implementation and optimisation.
The company does quite a lot of digital marketing and although this is not part of the role you will be working alongside the people that do (out and in house) to make sure that everything is running properly - landing pages, email system, best practise processes, social media, and remarketing.
We have large B2B and B2C databases which provide us with a great opportunity to improve our platforms and make them work harder for us. We are very interested to hear about your database experience – both positive and negative situations. If you come from a recruitment background that would be valuable, but it is not essential. What is important is that you understand the value of organised data so we can better help clients, outstanding service, and quality potential candidates.
This role as Web Manager will be perfect for someone who is smart, organised, technically led, intuitive, someone who solves problems without prompt, enjoys a challenge, and being part of a team.
